So over the last few days, Jaime and I have noticed that Noelle's eyes have been watering and when she would sleep, she'd wake up with some crusties in the corners of her eyes. She's also been rubbing her eyes although we just thought she was learning the global sign for "I'm tired".

Jaime did some searching online and thought it might be a blocked tear duct, which apparently is fairly common in infants. Finally this morning it was really bad so Jaime took Noelle to our pediatrician, Doctor Haraf.

Turns out the little tyke has PINK-EYE! We caught it fairly early on, but we think that it's one of the reasons that she hasn't been sleeping well lately. I haven't seen her all day but Jaime says the skin around her eye is now starting to turn red.

I've NEVER gotten pink-eye and I'm 34. Here's an infant not even four MONTHS old and she's got pink-eye.

A few weeks ago I found out that a friend of mine from Bell Shoals Baptist church (think late 80s early 90s for me) is getting married today. That's right, Jay Wright...if you're reading this, I'm coming to your wedding.

Anyway, my mom told me about the wedding by way of telling me that Mike and Linda Adler were going to be singing during the ceremony. Mike was the music pastor at Bell Shoals during the same time period and I haven't seen he and Linda for pretty close to 13 or 14 years. I always did look up to him and so I'm pretty excited about getting to see both of them again.

It'll also be interesting to see if there will be anyone else from Bell Shoals at the wedding, other than Jay's family.

Hey everyone... We know it's been a while since we last posted but as you can see, we've been doing a wee little bit of housecleaning around here.

We've added a lot more functionality and everything should now be easier to read. Pictures will be larger and more frequently uploaded. Plus you can more easily find old posts and pictures.
